I'm a web marketing consultant based in Wellington. I also surf and have a active lifestyle that involves twice weekly 3-4 hour walks into the hills behind my home in Days Bay. I have always appreciated the bush and the wildlife, and am concerned at the damage done by possums, wasps and other introduced predators. I also concerned by the changes to the coastline, fish stocks and disappearing shellfish stocks. I've been instrumental in the apprehension of two groups of paua thieves at my local surf breaks. I want my wonderful country - and world - to be preserved and conserved so that my children grow up getting as much pleasure from it as I have. Combating climate change seems to be fundamental to doing so, allowing species conservation and sea levels to be maintained as they are at present.
