Beth Suttie

I am originally from Scotland, but emigrated here in 1987. I fell in love with the beautiful climate and landscape of New Zealand, and am happy to be here, but have become increasingly concerned about the insidious destruction of this land. It is horrifying to think of how climate change is robbing us of all we hold dear, both here and globally. I want my children and grandchildren to always be able to feel the way I did when I first came here. For me there is no question- we must commit as a nation to at least 40% by 2020. How could we do any less?
