Here I am in Copenhagen

Here I am at the CultureFutures symposium in Copenhagen. It's a gathering of arts ministers and Heads of Arts institutes and organisations discussing how they can green up and how they can use their creativity to help sustain human and all life.

The conference is being held in the National Museum of Denmark, a beautiful building with an incredible environment-related exhibition on the main floor. Large glass pods with mini vegetation and biosphere within.

I got up and sang 'Better' yesterday to much applause, which was wonderful. We drank bottled water given to us by the museum, and then there was much apology and we found a recycling area and vouched not to do that again.

There is much talk about the 'London Climate Change Action Plan for the film, theatre and music sectors', one of many good models that I think New Zealand could adopt. I'm being billeted by a local Copenhagen family....really exciting to be here.
